These are a totally affordable luxury. Made of 100% certified organic cotton twill, they are wonderfully thick and thirsty. They come in a gorgeous unbleached colour and are incredibly soft. And the more you wash them, the softer they become!
Use these prefolds with a Super Whisper Wrap, Super Brite, or Bummis Original for a great and affordable diapering system. The Bummis system is created to use tight fitting wraps to hold diapers in place, but these diapers easily work with the Dritz Safety Pins offered by ecomum.
Superb absorption and a snug and waterproof fit — you just can’t go wrong with a prefold system! It’s versatile, trim and extremely durable. And when cloth diapering days are done, the prefolds can be passed on to another child, or used as handy cleaning cloths around the house.
These organic prefold diapers are 4 x 8 x 4 ply and come in 3 sizes:
PREEMIE — 4-9 lbs / 2-4 kg
INFANT 3-7kg (7-15lbs)
Both Preemie & Infant can later be used as toddler doublers for extra nightime absorbancy/
TODDLER 7-14kg (15 – 30lbs)
Sold in six packs, packaged in a handy reusuable snapped organic cotton bag.
These diapers should be washed and dried 3-5 times before using to remove the natural oils and waxes in the cotton. Please expect an approximate shrinkage of about 20 – 25 % after completing the pre-washes.
