For almost two decades, ecomum has been making midwifery weigh slings from our home studio in Peterborough, Ontario for clients around the world. This special collection of slings will support the Chloë Fund at the Canadian Mental Health Association, and are crafted from 100% organic cotton from the Cloud 9 Universal Love collection designed by Elizabeth Olwen. Twenty dollars from each sling sold will be donated to the fund.
The fund honors the memory of a dear friend, and aims to extend services offered by CHMA Haliburton Kawartha Pine Ridge’s Lynx Early Psychosis Intervention program, providing treatment and education services to young people aged 14-35 in the early stages of a psychotic illness.
These slings are 38″ long, and 29″ wide, with 2 sturdy metal D-rings at either end. Please note that weigh scales are NOT included with the slings, and unfortunately we don’t carry them, though we can connect you with one of our medical supply clients and they would be pleased to help you out.
Each sling will ship in a simple cloth shipping sleeve — reducing plastic waste in your purchasing experience.
Shipping note: If you are only ordering one sling, and live in Canada, please message us, and we can ship your order by letter mail for free; this service will be untracked. Select “local pickup” when checking out, or we can refund shipping charged.
